Hi,

my problem is already mentioned in the FAQs but unfortunately I could not solve it.

I used different email addresses with different projects.

This could be a problem. The email address is part of the algorithm to match a user across projects. If the email address differs, you might have two BOINCstats accounts that won't merge.

This can only be solved by going to all projects and make sure the same email address is used for all projects.


All in all, I participate in 5 projects: SETI, Predictor, Climate Prediction, Einstein and SIMAP.

For registration at SETI, Predictor, Climate Prediction and Einstein I used my old e-mail address which is not valid anymore and deleted, too.
For registration at SIMAP I used my new one.

Now I am listed twice here at BOINCstats.

Of course, I changed the e-mail address in my SETI, Predictor, Climate Prediction and Einstein accounts to the new one.
I have also validated the new address for all 4 projects by clicking on the links I received via e-mail from this 4 projects.

So now I use my new e-mail address for all 5 projects.

Nevertheless these 4 projects do not merge with my "new" ID (SIMAP).

Can you help me? Thank you very much!

Have all projects been talking to your BOINC inbetween?
If not, refresh them manually (not reset, just update!)
And is Simap together with at least one other project on it's host?
If not do so with at least one other for some days.

I have the same issue. So as long as all of the email addresses are updated, and I manually update the projects in BOINC Manager, and let some time pass to sync up, BOINCStats should update itself, and get rid of the rogue CPID?

Yes. Also, the project with the new CPID must 'share a host' with another project for it to sync up. If two projects with different CPID are attached together on a computer, one of them will eventually change.
