I saw something strange: on the general page for my name ( http://www.boincstats.com/stats/boinc_user...00d56c3fbea56a7 ) I see that I got 798 credits for 01-12. This is huge! So I thought: where does it come from. When I add all new credits from the projects I participate in (by clicking on the links on the general page for my name) I add up to 269 credits. Though I like the idea of getting 798 credits I think there might something wrong in the calculation?

Hmmm, there's indeed something weird.

Problem is: it all adds up. I'll investigate.

It looks like the combined stats is lagging behind the projects by one day, but only for the user stats. The numbers keep adding up, so this one will take some time to crack. I will fix this during the weekend.

I found an error in the prepare update script, which might have to do with this. Will look into this with more detail in the weekend.

OK, after thinking this through, I found the problem way before the weekend.

It seems the daily 'combined user' update (and only THAT part) errored out ywo days ago with an 'out of memory' error (wonder why I have 3GB in the server). All stats are shifted one day to the present, and yesterday the update did complete without error. So the credit/day from the last update is actualy the credit/2 days.

I'll monitor this behaviour more closely during the next updates, but what's done is done. This bug DOES affect your combined user stats to some degree. The error will fade out in 60 days though (lenght of the last day history table). It does NOT affect your long (month) history!

You might have seen this, but when I add up all the project-credits I come to 562, the total on my combined user-page is 521.

Thank you for all the work fixing this, I still like boincstats very much and I'm sure you'll fix this nasty bug! [And I hope I don't get you out of sleep at night!]

Hmm, I just did the math, and I get to 522. That's a rounding difference. Which project gave you the missing 40?

I did the calculation again, it fits now (yesterday as well as today). I cannot remember the details of the calculation of yesterday - and because the calculation is right now let's asume that there is no problem.
