I changed teams and changed username by adding a * on the end. I made appropriate changes to 'Main account page' and entered password x2 as required.

When I log in, I use NEW username, but if I search for NEW username, it doesn't appear/can't be found. If I search for OLD name (without *) in Users, it finds the old name.

Your NEW username has to be exported first by the projects before it replaces your OLD username in the stats. Only when 51% or more of the projects have exported your NEW name you can find your stats by searching on your NEW name.

Edit: that makes this NOT a bug!
