According to "Current Statistics" on the detailed stats page, I have 1728.15 credits but my graphic is showing the old figure of 1363 from yesterday. Is there some delay between database updates and Team Signature URL graphic updates?

Well, they did yesterday... today I'm showing 2,996.53 credits on the detailed stats page and the graphic remains unchanged. My own manual tally shows 3455.3 credits.

Ok, it updated now. I guess I'm expecting the graphic to update at the same time as the credits on the detailed statistics page. So I'm guessing there is a delay between the two.

Sorry to be a bother I'm still getting used to how all this stuff works together.

Purging the cache takes some time, and it's a sequential process so yes, stats are purged before the charts.
