I changed my country via Boincstats and want to sync it with my one and only retired project Rieselsieve.
Both have now a different country. I pushed the button after the daily update yesterday and the changes should be reflected today after the daily update but it doesn't.

Why it makes a difference if i am logged in or out?

Makes a difference for what?

If i am logged in, i see the new country for RS under "Sync retired projects". If i am logged out and looking for my user name, an other country will displayed for RS...

OK, I should have been clear from the start (note to self: read posts correctly before replying).

The new country is stored, but not used for the stats. You were apparently a resident of another country when the project was still active. Now changing your country would not only change the appearance on your detailed stats page but also the total credit of the country and all the rankings of the people below you in the old country and new country. That doesn't seem right from a historical/statistical point of view.
