Don't know if this is a BOINC/Seti bug with their RSS feed, or a BOINCstats bug, but ....

A news item was posted here on March 19th and then on March 22 the exact same news item was posted again.

Meanwhile ... if you follow the link provided in the news items posted it brings you to a Seti Message Board Posting that was originally posted Jan 29 2003 ... hardly news at all.

Me, as a subscriber of the BOINC RSS feed notified that all the old BOINC news came in again last week.
So clearly a problem at their side.

There were some errors in the rss feeds. For example, LHC had news dated in the future.

I took the opportunity to rework the rss reader code and released it just now. News should be correct again.

News appears in the forum news section when someone clicks "comment" under a news item. If that someone decides to do that with an old news item, then the forum news section shows old news.

When you look on the frontpage you can see that there is no (really) old news there.
