On the main page http://www.boincstats.com/index.php?pr=bo are the following dates:
Last update BOINCstats:
2005-02-18 12:11:27 GMT
00:11:53 ago

seems OK

Predictor@Home stats:
XML date: 2005-02-18 16:00:10 GMT
02:23:10 old

Climate Prediction stats:
XML date: 2005-02-18 13:52:04 GMT
04:31:16 old

Pirates@Home stats:
XML date: 2005-02-18 14:00:03 GMT
04:23:17 old

Einstein@Home stats:
XML date: 2005-02-18 15:05:02 GMT
03:18:18 old

All these indicate the server is about 6 hours in the future.

How can you know, what the stats will show in the furture?
Just curious

Errr, do you compare these to your local time? What is your local time?

All times on the BOINCstats server are in the past compared to my local time (my local time is GMT+1).

As I just happened to have gotten the first credits @einstein, I looked eagerly at your startpage whether and when you updated.
You've done it, , how and where can I use it?

Hmmm, this is all very strange.

The XML update times are taken from the timestamp of the XML file itself (kinda like the date of a file on your own system). I never saw any dates/times in the future, but I'll have a close look at it.

My time machine is sealed by the temporary agents. They didn’t like the changes I made (I went to 2050, got a real nice discount PC (AMD Parthon 50THz, 512TB 16xDDDDRAM and a 1039274950373940TB SAS9 hard disk) and took it to 2004 and donated it to Berkeley. This gave them a real good server, but they didn’t need distributed computing anymore because the system is damn fast and could find the aliens without our help (it went through all of Aribico's data in 5 days).

As the temporal agents will be the no.1 team in 2011, they didn’t like this one bit, and stopped me from going into the future, and sealed my machine.

Damn, found the bug.

It was in the update script, and used on the previous server to compensate for the time difference. Forgot all about it.

Fixed now!

It will take about 5 hours (into the future) to get the XML times right!

Why not unseal your machine? <!--emo&-->
