Hi,

go here: Pirates@Home hosts stats and sort by Average Credit. The number 1 host has a total of 1.01 credits but RAC of 145, the number 6 host has total credit of 1.79 but RAC of 22.Both hosts have 9 credit last day and last week.

Not really a bug, just a representation of the numbers submitted by Pirates.

That's weird, because when you look at the Pirates host-stats here http://pirates.spy-hill.net/top_hosts.php there is no sign of such an inconsistancy.

True, but the inconsistency is still a Priates issue, look at the host stats here at BOINCstats and compare the RAC according to Pirates and according to BOINCstats:

Code:
Recent average credit (according to Pirates@Home) 71.57641
Recent average credit (according to BOINCstats) 0.00000

Sure enough, on Pirates' pages it reports this host as having high RAC with only 1.01 total, see here:

Code:
Total Credit 1.01
Recent average credit 71.58

[edit]Forgot the point of my post: the "top computers" list looks like it filters out computers with < 300 total credit, that's why this host does not show up[/edit]

What about this, I have 65.99 RAC on Malaria and 50.33 on Tanpaku, but I haven't crunched for either for like two months... There is something server-side (RAC decay task) they don't have set up.

EDIT: just noticed 3.64 RAC on uFluids, not crunched there for a month either.

This is just a weird BOINC thing, if you don't crunch any wu's your stats will not update. This is very weird as the RAC is designed to get inactive crunchers (or people who start crunching less) out of the top list quickly.

yeah ironic isn't it? The problem is that it causes such a load on the database that the update script can not be run regularly on many of the projects.
