Despite changing preferences to turn ads off (which works for the duration of my visit), every time I log back in they have turned on again.

I logged in with your account (impersonated you) and no ads were showing. Was it in a specific place that you still see ads?

HI, I see it on home page, on here in between each post etc, top of page etc. I am using Chrome, could this be the issue. Once I change to no ads, it stays correct for duration of my visit but always resets again.

Just checked again and as soon as I log in to your account the ads are no longer displayed. However, if you are not logged in then ads are showing.

I see the same behavior: loading the page from my favorites (already logged in) shows ads. Only after changing it to no ads, that setting is working as expected. After closing all browsers and opening a fresh browser (Chrome version 99.0.4844.74) and loading BOINCstats again from my favorites: ads are shown. Rinse and repeat

In Firefox (99.0b5 (64-bits)) it seems to work as expected; the ads setting is respected once it is set to show no ads.

Hmmm, weird shit is happening here. I debugged the hell out of that setting when Euphoriabuzz reported it and it seemed to work just fine. However, when I look in the database now the setting for TeeVeeEss is "show ads". Don't have time right now but I'll have another look at it. For now I changed the setting directly in the database.

I found the problem and it should be fixed now. The setting will now save and stay that way.
