I went to the donation page for boincstats (http://boincstats.com/en/page/donate) and I noticed that Bitcoin is accepted. I was wondering if you can get a Gridcoin address to accept donations. Gridcoin is cryptocurrency that donates computing power to Boinc projects. I think it would be perfect if the boincstats website accepts donations in Gridcoin, I am sure many members of the Gridcoin team would be more then happy to donate.

I assume I should just write my BAM-ID, during the transaction of Gridcoins, for it to register on the donation page?
Sadly Coinomi (my wallet) appears to not support messages during transaction. It's not a big deal for me though, unless you want to know who sent what and so on.
Well I tried sending 250 Gridcoins now, so let's see if they go through. Not much, but a little to start with.

Unfortunately it's not possible to automatically read the wallet, even if you could add the BAM-ID. Just send me a message when you've send BTC or GRC with the ammount and BTC/GRC address and I'll add it manually.

Hi Willy, as always wonderful work with BOINCStats!

Gridcoin has a new feature "side-Staking" which basically means each stake on the blockchain, the staker can split their stake reward by % to multiple recipient addresses. What is good about this is its automated and I dont have to remember to send you GRC, it just happens in a constant stream of small 'tips' if you like.

To enable this feature the user must go to the gridcoinresearch.conf file and add:

enablesidestaking=1
sidestake=address,allocation_percentage

I would like to side-stake some of my % to BOINCStats, I just want to check your Gridcoin address.

If this is going to work for you I will also write a steemit article about it. Of course in this case its important you keep an address available for this long term, so we arent donating into the void....

Are you at southxchange now? Where have you been before?

We were discussing the address update on the Gridcoin discord and it was pointed out that side stakes under 1 GRC might be lost, because exchanges like southxchange require a minimum deposit of 1 GRC. Anything less might just end up with the exchange and is hence lost for you. Addresses from the Gridcoin wallet would not be subject to this minimum deposit.

I'm now at Holytransaction. Before that I was at Bittrex and before that at C-Cex (which has totally dissapeared).

I donated to get rid of the ads but it didn't work so I decided instead to denote my time to evading your ads with better filters and that paid off and with less effort. Fix your stuff man, this side is starting to suck.

Couple of things:

• As it says when donating with cryptocurrency, that process is in testing and may not work properly. As it turns out there is no longer an API on the cryptocurrency site to process cryptocurrency donations automatically. It also says, tell me when you donate so I can check if it went ok.
  
• I found your donation done on July 20th and I processed it dating the donation to today. You will now be able to disable the ads.
  
• As for fixing my stuff, if you would've told me you've donated when you did it you would've encountered no issues.
  
• And if this site sucks, tell me what sucks and I may make it less suckery. Or find a site that doesn't suck.
