Hi Boinc-Stats Team,

I recently (Dec 28 2005) added my third machine to the Boinc Projects (Seti) but it's still invisible in my personal Boinc computer stats. It's just an old iMac with not much credit, so it won't be disastrous not to have it there. Anyway, is it possible that all Boinc Stat data are usually refreshed with a short delay of a few days?

thanks in advance for your help but meanwhile my last post is obsolete: found my little iMac in my computer stats today (starting Jan 02 2006). I don't know what happened, maybe Santa has helped a bit (delayed but finally he's a busy man! I guess he just took a short break here on his way to Russia...:-)

Keine Bange, alles okay, keine unübersetzten Stellen (soweit ich sehen konnte). Nachdem ich ein bisschen im Forum gesurft hatte, fand ich die Help-Wanted-Posts von Willy (September 2005 ff.), und dachte mir, da kannst Du helfen. Also, wenn ihr mal Bedarf habt...

Danke für den Tip mit der Verlinkung. Manche Dinge lösen sich offenbar von selbst (s.o.), aber beim nächsten Mal mache ich es bestimmt so.

it usually takes a little while for changes to occour, this is because a certain amount of time passes before your host is included in the XML database exports (they're only generated a few times a day at most)

then it takes some time for boincstats to download and read the files, and to make and changes to the information you see on the site

if there's a problem with a project and they don't export stats for a few days (this happened with seti a little while ago) this can make the delay even longer

so if it doesn't appear in a week or so, then i'd start wondering, but if it's only been a day or 2, well, you just got to give it some time
