It's great that we can compare our progress against other users, or our team's progress against other teams, who happen to be on the same displayed ranking page as ourselves or our team, but it would be even better if we could make such comparisons aginst other users/teams who reside on other pages (when listing ranks).

For instance I'm trying to see the comparrison graphs between myself and my friends and family members (and our rankings don't usually fall within the same 100 entries displayed per page). Maybe there is a way to do this and I haven't figured it out. If so, I hope someone can let me know.

If it doesn't exist, I think it would be easy enough to accomplish for comparing ourselves if our entry was always kept (on a separate line) at the very top of the list page, however a different mechanism may be necessary to make comparrisons between other users/teams which don't happen to include ourselves.

Thanks!

This is already possible if you know the IDs of the people you want to compare.

E.g.: http://boincstats.com/stats/compare_graph.php?pr=bo&table=users&id%5B%5D=419620&id%5B%5D=200000&id%5B%5D=100000

Just change the id-numbers and/or extend the url with "&id%5B%5D='number'" for more people.
This is for the boincstats combined stats.

If you want to compare within a project just change pr=bo into e.g. pr=wcg or pr=qmc
Within a project you need to use the user-IDs within the project like:

http://boincstats.com/stats/compare_graph.php?pr=qmc&table=users&in=&id%5B%5D=20000&id%5B%5D=30508

Excellent. Thanks Crystal Pellet! That works well.

Hopefully one day the developer(s) of this site will make it easy and intuitive, but for now the method you outlined does the trick.
