What is the use of comparing if you can only compare competitors from one page ? Seems quite useless to me. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Personally I always use the compare page like this:

I go to the list of users. Tick two random users, and click Compare.

Then I search for the actual users I want to compare (who may be millions of credits away from each other), and edit the URL to have their user IDs.

If they are not that far awy from each other in the ranking you can as well edit the start position of the list in the URL.
I'm on rank 409 at yoyo, if I click on this rank in my yoyo stats, I get a list starting with 401. If I want to look up the 50 spots before me I give in the following URL:
http://de.boincstats.com/stats/user_stats.php?pr=yoyo&st=350#409

These are usable options, but in my opnion too long-winded (?) to be the way to use "compare". I should be able to click one person, turn over to another page, click a person there and then compare.

How else should it be done?
Endless lists will be considerably more annoying, and usually I want to compare myself with those (hosts/teammembers/users/teams/countries) in my vincinity.
What's the use of a comparison graph between me (rank 8963) with, say you (rank 286,904)?

What's the use of comparison if the difference between top and bottom competitors is just 50 credits ? I should be able to compare the credits of one person with the credits of another person wherever they are placed in the stats.
In general, using your "use"of comparison, it is useless to compare yourself with someone else if the other person is on another page. So what's the use of comparison at all?
