If you running multiple hosts its pretty useful to check the daily output from each host via Boincstats to make sure they are running okay.

Unfortunately if they are of the same specification, CPU and OS, its impossible to tell which host is which from the stats.

Therefore I wonder if it would be possible to add the computer/host name as a field/column within the Hosts list (or if there is no space, within the Host detail page)?

All the statistics pages at the individual projects show the computer/host name so I am guessing this is information that is retrievable by Boincstats?

The default value should be the host name, and if the user specifies the alias, then the alias would be presented as the hostname on this site.

Actually thinking about this logically, the last thing you want to do is make your hostnames public.

Perhaps if it were only shown to each member if they were logged into their account (within their hosts list or detail page).

Owners can now see the hostname on de host detailed stats page and in the user host list. This cannot be seen by other users or search engines!
