@Seejay- I am a novice overclocker and so far 3.55GHz is as far as I have gotten any stability out of it....the cooler ambient temps get the more I can do me thinks...the water cooling is not as effective as I thought it would be but I did buy just a decent starter system. I think with tweaking in the dead of winter I can get to 4 GHz I hope as I see others have been able to do

@Frank-That chipset sure can take abuse..hahaha...I do notice that it runs much hotter than the P33 on Dominator about 110-120F...I have thrown a box fan at it taking off the side cover and it backs down to 88F....A LOT more features than the P33. The Bios allows you to change the frequency of the FSB in relation to the ram and the freq of the northbridge...very impressed so far ....oh and it is dual-bios...the P33 is not so I may risk flashing this one if they come out with a stable release...keeping my eye on that.

I still have some problems in that the new NVidia driver doesn't work right so I am going to re-install the OS AGAIN! and install the 177.73 instead of the 177.80 for Linux...Currently even though CUDA is working it will only give me 400x680 resolution! Arghhhhh hehe

Oh 3 other things-I did not mount the crazy cool plate provided as it did not appear it would make much difference and it looked like it would interfere with the cooling block mounting.

The DDR3 1600 mhz ram runs at 1066 no matter the other settings so far....I think it has to do with the timings as the A48 board runs it at 7-7-7-20 and the ram rating is 9-9-9-24....need to figure that out too! Lots to keep me busy when I find the time.

The GTX260 is fast fast fast....did I say fast? hehe It runs almost 4 times faster than the 9800GT and only 3 times the price!

that's about the same i'm missing on my P35-board too.

hmm - i think every current GiGabyte-board comes with DUAL-Bios and Q-Flash (Bios-update without OS-support).

grmpf - installed 178.24 on my Vista-box yesterday - no problems over here..

The GTX 260's are fast fer sure but to get 4 a day will depend on the Brand & Version of the Card & also how much it's Overclocked too. 1 Brands Overclocked Card can be considerably Lower than another's Brand, I've seen as low as 6 hr's for a Wu and as high as 10 hr's for a Wu from the same Card. So the Times can vary from Wu to Wu to depending on how much the other Projects interfer with it's running ...
