Hi,
it appears that I have two separate accounts at Boinstats with two separate user ID's: 3365722 and 2892594. I am not sure why so that's why I'm contacting Boinc-stats forum to see if you can resolve the issue and maybe merge my accounts? Is there a way to do it?

Thx

Now I changed all e-mails to the same one, across all projects...changed the BOINCstats e-mail to the same one...

Didn't help...1h after the change was made!

It usually takes 24-36 hours hours (or more) to completely sync depending when specific projects export stats and when BoincStats update the stats.

Hi,

I've exact the same isuee since the 12th October. I'd say...

7: The big all project encompassing CPID update is during Sunday night. Wait until Sunday to see if your BAM! CPID lined up with your projects.

If this will not help. I'll open a new post for my issue as well.

BTW: I had all the time the same mail adress. It seems it happend with adding a new project.

Best,
Steffs

Hey,

my account is now fixed!
I crunched one task from each project, on the same machine. After completed, credits awarded and some time, the stats on the stats sites was combine into a single entry again.

I guess it took 2 days or so.

All the Best,
Steffs

In the future, to fix CPID issues with active projects, you just have to attach one host to all of the projects--actually completing work is not necessary. All you need to do is get that one host to show up in the host list for the project in question.

the probelm is that BOINCstats doesn't recognize if someone is within A team on project 1...& in B team on project 2...& no team in projects 3-7!

'cause I've got about 8M credits on BOINC now...just not signed up to me, 'cause of that "team issue"!

BOINCstats and BAM should be handle you being part of multiple teams (or none) at various projects... Looks like your stats are quite a mess, have you by chance created duplicate accounts? I ask because you have two accounts; one at Ripple Labs, and one at Gridcoin, that are both registered at SETI@Home and only one seems to be your "active" account.

http://boincstats.com/en/stats/-1/user/detail/3365722/overview

The two other accounts found under your username, including one that only has credit for retired project Orbit@Home. These could be your typical split CPID since they aren't active/included on any of your other entries.

Note that BOINCstats will show you as member of the team for which you are registered at the most projects, it shouldn't "split" your stats like that. Usually, that occurs due to split CPID or simply having multiple accounts by mistake.

hi,
NO I've not created multiple logins...& all projects use same e-mail for registration!

maybe BOINCstats should make something like "merge" function for us...so we can merge all our accounts!
of course, with some checking in order - but that's on BOINCstats end to set the rules...

The CPID is what ties all of the projects together; the fact that you have two at the same project (SETI@Home) usually means that you have two accounts. It IS possible (except at World Community Grid) to make two accounts with the same username, but different email addresses. In fact, there are 5 total users at SETI with the name "Klik", two using your capitalization and three from Croatia.

For most BOINC projects, email address is the actual account identifier, WCG uses account name instead.

yeah, I do know it now!

1. first account was made in 2000, but with my collage mail...so couldn't get into it... :/
2. second account, made in 2010 was made to unknown mail for me...but I think it's mine! still waiting for confirmation...
3. third one & currently using, is the account currently using...
4. forth one is "SETi@home BETA", opened when I signed up there with my username & password...

how to combine them, that is the Q now?! :'(

You'll have to contact the people at SETI, only they can do that for you. I know actual duplicate accounts has been an issue for some people in the past, unfortunately I haven't heard whether the projects are receptive to that kind of request.

You should still be able to get some of the other projects in line with your current account, all you have to do is update your account info there and then attach them (no work needs to be done, just so they register the changed CPID with the servers) to one of your current hosts, and wait a few days for the CPID to update there.
