how is it i have 3 hosts with no credits ? http://boincstats.com/bam/host_list.php "Eve Robocopter" and when i got into host name "I-nigel" (http://boincstats.com/bam/account_host.php?host_id=289807) their is a list of about 16 projects - some retired, but if i go through the Stats icon at the end of the host line, the host has only 4 projects (http://boincstats.com/stats/boinc_host_graph.php?pr=bo&id=7d379e877b2e9bb4122dadaf4a3eebd7) and the graphs have large steps down...

its like this for all 3 of my hosts

but i'm getting about 300-380k boinc points per day... http://boincstats.com/stats/boinc_user_graph.php?pr=bo&id=54205ffc13303d6245022c00323a676b check the numbers at the bottom.....

I'm confused.

hi,
ok, i stopped BAM on 1 host for test and re-connected with BAM, hey presto, the credits are back, did other 2 hosts and then went through my projects and merged computers, then back in Boinc, my hosts is cleaned out.

is there a way to merge hosts that are linked in the 'my detailed stats' link to 'my hosts' as it has 13 computers ..

Glad you got your BAM host list showing new credits.



You can not merge this list at BOINCstats. This is the combination of all hosts reported from the various active (according to BOINCstats) projects you have participated in. The list is combined by host CPID. Unfortunately you sometimes get a new host CPID assigned. This has happened to you based on your BAM credits breaking and you being able to merge hosts at projects.

To "merge" this list you need to remove the duplicate hosts at the various projects. This may mean reconnecting a host to a project it is no longer on so it will either update the host CPID on that project or create a new host entry with your current host CPID that you can then merge the old entry into.

I occasionally try to do this with my hosts. I have limited success since some projects don't support merge at all, some are running older BOINC server code that doesn't fully support merge, and some projects are BOINCstats active but not really up now so I can't connect to try and correct the host issue.
