Ok this is an ongoing problem. As of 21st January 2011 my daughters account split and
showed up twice in the team stats page and since then I've been trying to solve the problem
as this is a family team with a little competition among our 3 kids.

I've tried the FAQ approach and also posted twice also on this problem with no success
with the advice I've received which is most appreciated albeit a tad disappointing so now
I'm looking at accessing the duplicate account which holds credit but no longer seems to be
updating to see if there is a way of accessing this account and thus bringing all CPID into
line and hopefully merge the duplicate accounts

Using search for my daughters user name I get this

Question How do I access the second account of shaz to renew CPID and hopefully
align the 2 accounts if possible.

The problem is not at BOINCstats it is at Aqua@home.

Your daughter 'shaz' has two accounts at Aqua. Since there are two different CPIDs at Aqua as well, this all points to those two accounts having different email addresses.

Lets call the email + account on all projects the first/primary and the account + email just on Aqua the second.

Since the second account has more credits at Aqua I would suggest
- log into Aqua with the first account
- change its email to something else, if you have a working email not already used with Boinc I would use it, else <something>@example.com will work. If you want you could also change the account name, to something like shaz2.
- now log into Aqua with the second account
- change its email to her primary email (used on all the other projects)

Now wait a day or two and you should see the credits swap on the stats sites so the first account has the 26K+ from Aqua.


Note: If you ask the admin at Aqua they might be willing to merge the two accounts together, but I don't know if it is worth it for 14 credits.
