Hey, anyone know what I can do about this. I registered over a week ago (stuart.grant) and still have no CPID and can't add projetcs. I can find my accounts and the messages says that the project is added but they're not on my project list/ resources.

Did you receive any credits at any of your projects?

There's no "stuart.grant" to be found in BOINCStats.

No, I've not received any credit for anything yet, I just registered with this site last week. I do have credit with various projects and it can find my accounts with the various projects (using find account, SETI for example) and it says "Project Added" but it doesn't show up in my list here. Am I missing something?

I cant find myself in search either, but I can log on using stuart.grant and my password?

What's your user name at SETI? Did you try to search for it here?

Is your email address here the same as at SETI?

Why is your username not the same? (See the FAQ)

Did you attach your computers to BAM!? (See item 8)

Gundolf

My user name was not correct, it was Stuart Grant (http://boincstats.com/search/all_projects.php?cpid=124eb3eb2d24eff60f7e88b9dd57ace9), so I found my credits. I have updated my account with the right username (and I can find myself through the search) but I can still not add projects. My email address with the various projects is the same and has always been (thus, it can find the accounts).

I have checked my boinc client and it can connect to the server correctly with my credentials. I had set all the projects on there separately before signing up for this account though so I don't think it is getting it's project instructions from BAM. I notice when I find my account using search I have a CPID but it doesn't show up in the account manager, is this just a matter of time since I realized that my username was different? Once I get that CPID to be associated to my credentials will I be able to add projects to this account and control all my clients from here?

Thanks for the help so far, hope I've not been too much of a bother,
-Stuart

My question was if your computer (BOINC client) is attached to BAM!, not to a project. So, are you speaking of the BAM! server?

Gundolf

[edit]As to your other quetions: Yes, give it a couple of days - you won't need to add the projects, they should be there already - no, no bother at all :-)[/edit]

Yes my client was communicating with the BAM! server. It was logging on using stuart.grant which is the username I put in when I registered. I was under the impression that it would use my email address to synch up to the various projects, I didn't realize I had to find my username on BoincStats first and set my new BAM! account username to be the same thing. Everything appears to be working correctly first, all my projects are showing up in my project list.

Thanks again for the help,

Hello!

I§m a new bionic user, and I joind a few projects. I regsitered here to manage my different, but after registration i've found out that BIONIC Manager doesn't support hungarian characters such as ó and á so I could not log in throgh the manager. Therefore a vreated a new account with different name than I used at the project but this way the account manager cannot find my account at the projects, and i don't have a CPID here on this page. I ried to rename my accounts to match this account name but it was no use.
I used the same e-mail every time and a veryfied the CPIDs of the different projects manually, and thes are all the same....I can find myself with searching (but not all projects ).
If anyone has a guess on what's the matter then i'd gladly use any advice or solution.

Make sure that your username, email address and password are the same at all projects; BAM! cannot work with projects that have different account information. Then, make sure you have at least one of your clients attached to BAM. It may take a day or two for your CPID to be linked to your account.

Oh what a NOOB I am! The problem has been solved by changing my BAM account password to match the account passwords and vhoala! it works! What a pity...
Thank for the advice though, it gave me the idea that this might be the problem.
