Hi,

I set up my account here earlier today and noticed that my account information page did not contain my CPID.

After leaving it for a couple of hours in case it needed time to show up I tried to renew CPID but again this has done nothing.

All my projects use the same Username, Password and email address that I used to set up my account here and all projects show the same CPID.

Any ideas what the problem may be??

I have exactly the same problem. There is absolutely no CPID on my "Main Account Page". My machines have an id. I didn't tried to renew my CPID because I don't know/think that helps.

Well, if i click your name on the forum it opens a page with stats for "BlueMoon". So i guess now you have your CPID in tyour BAM! profile?

yep I played around a bit and tried a lot of things. I checked the renew CPID, I gave me a new Username (identically to the one I used at WorldCommunityGrid) and now it seems to work. As you said, when I lookup my stats I see me "old" username. I guess this will be correct tomorrow or so.

BTW another thing: on the resources page I have "No response from project" under WorldCommunityGrid. Is that correct?

WCG does not support account manager RPCs. So no response is the expected behavior.

I have four problems, possibly related to my not having a CPID, maybe?

1) Before this week, my stats from crunching for Rosetta@Home showed up fine, in BOINC stats. Now they show zero for this week, despite my crunching 24/7, and earning credit on Rosetta. I've upgraded to the latest Windows release of the BOINC manager, but that has made no change.

2) I don't have a CPID, whatever that is. What is it, and how do I go about getting one?

3) My team, Overclockers.com, shows no credits, for the last few days, despite being very active.

4) Rosetta@Home isn't listed as an active project on the BOINC projects list. I asked Rosetta about this, and they said I should ask here.

If you search for "adak", you find three users, one of which is member of team Overclockers.com. This one also has credits shown for the last week.

It's impossible to crunch and not have a CPID. You don't even need to crunch, you get one with account creation, you won't show up in the stats until you get credits, but the CPID is always there.

Look up your account in any project you participate and you will find it there somewhere.
