I had created a link to my BOINC Stats a long time ago and have been using it to check my BOINC Stats, then a few days ago I get this error about a CPID not valid. So I go to the Berkeley Seti Site and click the link to my BOINC Stats in my account and my BOINC Stats appear to be starting over, like they were erased or something and all history is gone, etc.

I didn't do anything or change anything or join any other projects or quit any projects or nothing.

It appears to be just me. No one else has an issue.

Can someone help?

Thanks.

Is this your stats here, if you changed your email you will get a new CPID.

Thanks for responding.

I didn't change my email address here at BOINC Stats until today.

When this happened I had done nothing.

It looks like this happened on the 7th of Oct. I did nothing. I just went to view my stats and got a CPID not valid error.

Or are you talking about my Seti account email address? Maybe thats it?

I know I have had to update email addresses lately. I just don't remember when I did my Seti Account. However I don't think it was recent.

Thanks.

I changed my email address back to what it was before and that changed my CPID and got me back to my Stats. At least I think so.

The stats wont show because the Stats Table is being updated right now, but I don't get a CPID error.

I wish stats wouldn't change for that or there was a way to combine or roll over CPID's

I lost a lot of stats just because I had to change an email address.

Thanks.

Yes I was talking about your SETI account. The projects assign your CPID based on your email when you change your email, your CPID changes. If you changed your email back you may get another CPID.

If you run multiple projects to get a common CPID you have to have all email addresses the same and have a common project on all machines then the CPID on each projects changes to the oldest one. This causes a problem when you change your email because some projects are closed and you can't change them so the points don't get reconized at the stat sites. It would be nice if they allowed you to input more than one CPID so they can add all your points.
