On March 24, 2005 Team SETI.USA was created to consolidate United States users and become the #1 SETI Team in the world. This goal was achieved within 24 months of inception thanks to the extraordinary efforts of our dedicated membership. To parlay that effort, and for the benefit of all BOINC distributed computing projects, Team SETI.USA’s commitment to extend beyond a single project has begun. SETI.USA is now BOINCing the world! As of September 19, 2007 we reached our second goal of becoming the #1 team in overall BOINC. We are now working on taking #1 in other BOINC projects. Join with us as we boldly go where no team has gone before!

Please consider joining Team SETI.USA. SETI.USA is currently the World Number One Team in BOINC Combined. But we have quite a battle ongoing with Team France (L'AF) and Team SETI.Germany. We need your help and always welcome new users.

Team SETI.USA have a very active – probably the most active - message board for our users. Our message board is full of friendly, knowledgeable & helpful users. With conversations ranging form detailed & specific BOINC Projects, and how to best optimize your systems for them, to topics including fun facts, interesting “Off-Topic” non BOINC posts, astronomy & BOINC science info, trivia, statistics & standings and much much more.

Team SETI.USA is and always will be an “It's your stuff, you can crunch what you want”, type of team. We understand that sentiment and do not pressure users into projects. But we do have several competitions, or “Crunches” and we typically have a Team Focus Project for those who choose to compete and help the team with specific goals and long term strategy. We are a friendly team, quick to support and help users who need assistance and still very competitive, in a friendly, fun and open way.
