Besides keeping statistics on all BOINC projects, participants and having one of the busiest message boards around, BOINCstats recently passed the 100M mark in total team credit and is in sixth place in the PrimeGrid Challenge. More great news is that BOINCstats is currently in 15th place in the SIMAP Scramble, up from 43rd in just two months. I believe Top 10 ranking after this month's competition is over is within sight.

BOINCstats is ranked #51 among 75K+ teams and is approaching another milestone: 600 members, a goal that should be reached this month. BOINCstats also has a balanced presence and often top 20 ranking over a wide spectrum of BOINC projects.

. . . all in all, a growing dynamic group!

I joined BOINCstats because I wasn't impressed with the teams that were obsessed with only a project or two. . .

. . . the teams that were a HUGE dog [a BOINC member with mass quantities of computers] or two and a gaggle of wannabes.

. . . a team founder that was too busy to participate in the challenges, blitzes and competitions that make BOINC fun and belonging to a team interesting.

We currently have 607 members and a lot more would improve our standings and the prospect of placing well in competitions that much better.




If we truly want to run with the big dogs, we need to recruit more members!

. . . and get many of our current members more active.

Team BOINCstats added 5 new members yesterday, apparently we are doing something right.

I believe that our participation in the SIMAP Scrambles, the PrimeGrid Challenge and the WCG 200Mth result is getting noticed.

. . . with 76,196 teams to choose from, a little advertising and brand identity goes a long way.
