Good evening.

I just came back to the use of BOINC since a couple of years of not using it, so I found out that now exists something called BAM and I thought: ok, this seems useful, instead of adding one by one all my projects every single time I format my computer (because this was exactly what kept me for about 2 or more years away from here), so I selected this way, once I installed BOINC. In projects I couldn't add any, since it only can sinchronize with the BAM thing, so I went to http://boincstats.com/es/bam/signup/ to add a project and I selected Rosetta. When creating an account it said it was being used already, and searching for one it said "wrong password", so I went to the Rosetta project to make sure the old password and the new password on my BOINC account were both the same to not have problems. Then I clicked the "find account" button on the boincstats site in Rosetta project, so it disappeared from the list.

Just to make it clear, my account on Rosetta, World Community Grid and all of the projects were created between 2005 and 2011, so these are all old accounts I'm trying somehow to merge with the new BAM one.

Then, I went to my BOINC and pressed the Sincronize button, it says "please, wait", then "update complete" and nothing happens, I cannot see a single project on the list of my BOINC, and the Rosetta project is now gone forever on the boincstats list of projects, so I cannot add it again.

I also replied to you on the BOINC forums:

Sounds like you added the project the BAM successfully, but the default behavior is not to add the project to any hosts. If you go to the "My projects" page, you will see an option to "Attach new host by default" and icons to "Attach all hosts now" or "Detach all hosts now". You can also manage resource share, or manage hosts for just that project through this page.

If you look at the "My projects" page, I'm sure you will see that Rosetta is there. However, World Community Grid is a bit problematic with BAM, and you may get errors while trying to add it through the web interface. Remember that you must use the same username, email and password to add a project to BAM; if you want to add a project that you didn't have an account at before then you can use the "Create account" function and BAM will do this for you.

Great, now it seems that my host is correctly attached to both projects.

But now, somehow, in my BOINC manager, both projects are in a permanent status of failed communication. I don't know how is this exactly called in English, but it basically means that the communication failed and it will try again later (then a timer between brackets, starting on 4 mins for Rosetta, 30 secs for GPUGRID).

Thanks for the kind help!
