Hey BAM & Users,

Are there any plans to introduce a bug bounty system? It seems like there are some often-requested features that people don't have the time/motivation/etc to implement (attaching to project not in the BAM default list, for example). We manage a huge fleet of machines and have to skip using BAM for that exact reason. We would gladly pay for some development on these features. BountySource would make this pretty easy.

Thanks!

Thought about it, never had time to implement it.

Any chance you know of any open-source Boinc Account Managers? We were looking at Dazzler but it looks pretty basic and beta. We could contribute a couple hundred machines to the BOINC network in the next month, and a good 10 new ones each subsequent month if we can find a way. Currently, we are working on implementing a script to download updated boinc_config files from our server and not using an account manager, clearly not an ideal system. If you know a better way, I'm all ears.

The thing stopping us from using BAM is that we need to be able to attach to custom projects that aren't in the BAM directory.

Not open source, but a fairly well maintained program to control your hosts is Boinctasks. You can find it at http://efmer.com/b/boinctasks
