I'm having trouble connection to my BAM! account manager through the boinc client. Every time I try I get this error:

Failed to add account manager
An error has occoured
check the Event Log for details

So I check the event log and the only line that pops up while connecting it this:

23-02-2013 07:48:21 | | Fetching configuration file from http://bam.boincstats.com/get_project_config.php

I tried without firewall as well, same result. It's like the authentication never happens, because what ever I put into username and password the same error keep appearing.

Anyone have an idea on what is going on?

If you go to the url http://bam.boincstats.com/get_project_config.php in your browser, does it show XML data (it should)?

It does:

<project_config>
<name>BOINCstats BAM!</name>
<min_passwd_length>6</min_passwd_length>
<account_manager/>
<uses_username/>
<client_account_creation_disabled/>
</project_config>

Then you have no firewall problems. The problem is probably with the BOINC client, but that is out of the scope of my knowledge.
