My boincmgr cant attach to BAM, but succefully attaching to individual projects.

Yes I did search, and the problem is my problem
"I'm afraid it's a problem at your end"

Anyone knows how to get this worked out?

I'm using VirtualBox 3.1.4 for Windows hosts and with Windows XP 32bit as guest.
The problem is on the guest.

I guess my question would be, why would you want to run BOINC on a virtual machine and not on the host itself?

Maybe he wants to run TWO instances of BOINC. Fifty FreeHAL WU's at once?

I once tried to get BOINC running under Wine to let it crunch DynaPing alongside my main installation, as BOINC under Linux can't do it.
I failed, but for me that's no big problem. II just wanted to state, that maybe there are valid reasons, not only FreeHAL-cheating.

Running a "virtual box" to run FreeHal is not cheating.

The project manager allows one VIRTUAL host to run for each REAL host running.
