I have tried to contact account manager (BAM!) from Boinc Manager using the same username and password as when I log in here, but I always get this error:

6.8.2009 18:27:14||Fetching configuration file from http://bam.boincstats.com/get_project_config.php
6.8.2009 18:27:26||Contacting account manager at http://bam.boincstats.com/
6.8.2009 18:27:27||Account manager error: 0 User not found or password wrong.

What to do?

EDIT: Also when I try to add the WCG to my projects, I get this error: 'Checking for existing account at World Community Grid -> Wrong password' I use the same username/password there also.

Does your password have exotic characters (outside the ASCII range)?
Please do not PM, IM or email me for support (they will go unread/ignored). Use the forum for support.

No. Just that my username had one _

Anyway, I deleted that account and created a new one with a new username. Now I can contact BAM, but it won't assign me any tasks! It doesn't even connect me to my projects. Currently, I have Einstein@home and Rosetta@home in my project list with 50/50 resource share, 'attach new host by default' checked. Both seem to work fine when added manually in the Boinc Manager.

EDIT: Same problem with every project available.

Why does deleting one's account, and creating a new one seem to be the first reaction to not being able to attach to BAM? That certainly doesn't seem to be a helpful solution, from the user or database standpoint.

Did you look under your host list, to make sure that the projects were set to attach? I'm aware that you selected "attach by default", but check just in case. Have you checked under the "messages" tab to see if anything there would hint as to why you're not getting any projects attached?

I checked, and the projects were not set to attach. I checked the 'attach' boxes and it worked.
