On BAM initial page there's Step by step setup instructions on how to join projects but I'm having a HELL of a problem with the 4th point
Goto "Sign-up for projects" in the BAM menu and select the projects you want to join ("Create account&quot , then click "Start". (This step is optional if you already joined a project)
; I redid the steps one by one and there's no page mentioning "Sign-up for projects" neither simply "sign". I'm eager to start helping the scientific community and this is rather a big problem to do so. You don't believe me ? Take a look at the following screenshots : after login then Project status information.

Did I miss something ? Is the Step by step setup instructions out of date and there's a more recent version somewhere else ? I have a few computers at my disposal and this would save me a lot of time adding all the projects I'm interested in on each one of them. Please help.

Also I'm having problem Attaching to BAM! ; on the 3rd step I'm using
bam.boincstats.com
and on the 4th
[BOINCstats] DynV
Could it be because I have no project signed-up yet ? The first problem is probably more important though.

You have to click on "Sign-up for projects" in "My BAM menu" on the left-hand side of this page. Perhaps you must open "My BAM menu" first. [edit] And of course you have to be logged in! [/edit]

With regard to your other post: Your user name is "DynV" not "[BOINCstats] DynV".

Thank you for your reply Gundolf,

As you may have seen in the screenshot in my first message, the "My BAM menu" was already opened and I looked at every single page inside of it and can't find anything about "sign" in them. I don't know what happened (maybe there's a cron job after account verification for user additionnal settings) but I now have more settings, here's a new screenshot.

For the connection, I also tried with only my nickname and it won't connect, I keep getting the error
User not found or password wrong

Now that I have my desired project list (after having found my previous projects and signing-up for new), I still have the account manager connection problem.

I suppose the following prove that I did ? I did twice, the second time warned me that it was already done.

BOINCstats BAM! registration confirmation.

Over a day after I assigned Resources to my BAM account and I still can't attach it to BOINC. Is there a help desk or some way to get administrators attention ? Thank you

I don't know what's wrong with this account but I did exactly the same steps (except the find account) with another use name and different emails address but this time it worked .... Count it be that that because I had previous BOINC accounts and fond them that it somehow messed this account ?!

Anyway I'd like to get the credits of this account to my new one. Is there a way to do that ?

Thank you

Not sure what is happening here. But Willy (the administrator) can take a look and see what is exactly happening.

But you cannot transfer your credits to the new account since BAM! requires all User name, email and password to be the same as in all projects. Also as Gundolf noted bellow you should use DynV as the user name in step 4.

Thanks to Gundolf advice I was using just the user name.

It would be nice to have a look into the problem, maybe not for the account per say but so the situation doesn't repeat.

Now that you have a working account, can you change the email address to the one you've got your BOINC projects registered with?
