Hello everyone,

I run a Linux command line client that has been unable to connect to BAM! for a while. For some days, I saw

Code:
2008-09-17 10:23:40 [---] Account manager error: http error

in my stderrdae.txt. After noticing that this had been discussed on this forum, I removed my client from my clients list and tried to reattach it by using

Code:
boinc_cmd --acct_mgr_rpc http://bam.boincstats.com myusername mypassword

It should be noted that my password contains a special character I had to escape with a backslash in order to prevent bash from interpreting it. Anyway, his did not work, the logfile says

Code:
2008-09-30 12:40:20 [---] Account manager error: -184 Unable to add host to BAM!. Please try again later.

Should I really "try again later" (although I've been seeing this for two days now) or is there really something wrong?

Many thanks in advance!

The problem seems to have solved itself, after a few hours, I just checked again and the machine is here again. Sorry for the unneccessary post!
