Hey,
After i have set up everything on BAM! I go tools > Synchronize with BOINCstats BAM! but recieve an error message that says:

Failed to update account manager

User not found

Any ideas? I signed up for individual projects just using my name before i got BAM! and now with BAM! i have an account name thats different.

Also got a similar error yesterday

Failed to updated account manager user not found or password wrong?

I have 3 hosts the other 2 synch fine it's just 1 host that gives this error I have not changed the password here is my event log for this one host

I also can't seem to be able to change the username or password from the BOINC manager nor can I add a new manager ?

Please Help if you can do I need to change something just for this one host as the other 2 seem to be unaffected

You may find that your BOINC manager might not be able to synchronize with the BOINCstatsBAM project manager it will tell you this in both the event log and at the end of the attempted update window. I am still not sure how this can happen it has only occurred once with my primary BAM host SpideRaY-PC as shown in the screen dumps below it also notifies you in the main notices tab.





I was unsure how to correct this however I found it under the Tools menu option, please be aware that sometimes it will not give the name of the account manager that you are using with your BOINC manager in the menu option so this can be confusing however don't be alarmed it will not remove your World Community Grid project from the BOINC client.




Simply click YES to stop using BOINCstatsBAM! with the incorrect username that is in error, then all you need to do is reconnect to your BAM account manager using your BOINCstatsBAM! username and password.





When this has been correctly added you should be able to remove the synch error and all will be sorted again. You can easily check this by refreshing your hosts panel @ http://boincstats.com/en/bam/hosts/

However sometimes it may create another BAM ID for the same host as shown here the new 503864 is the same host as the 495883 after the BOINC manager was updated from v7.2.39 to v7.2.42. This a a bit annoying as the same hostname now shows under two BAM! ID's but at least it's now able to synch you can however click the blue show only active hosts toggle if you don't want to display the older BAM! ID.
