I fortunately have already an account fpr BAM! with my insecure password, so I don't have this problem, but a teammate just wanted to open one with his usual BOINC project password, and was rejected.

Do people, who have a not so secure password in the projects, have to change them in every single project to make them manageble via BAM! or is there another, more convenient, way for them?

Why was this measure implemented anyway?

It was implemented to protect people from using an easy-to-guess password, but as this is not the first complaint I'll remove the check. I will keep the strength bar.

THX!

(Perhaps I really should change my PW to something better)
