Two issues I need help with:

1. I have individual host resource settings for all of my hosts, and they show up in BOINC Manager just fine. But occasionally when I update projects or sync w/ BAM, the resource values in BOINC Manager revert to the global resource values. Is there a way to prevent the global settings from overriding the host-specific settings?

2. None of my hosts are responding to the "No new work" setting set in the host resources. It seems the only way I can make that happen is by manually going into BOINC Manager and doing it there. Any idea why it wouldn't be working? Could this be another case of conflict between global + individual host settings?

I have a couple of hosts offsite, so I'd love to figure this out. I'm using the latest versions of BOINC Manager (5.10.13 on Windows + 5.10.7 on Mac). Thanks in advance.

I think I've got the same issue as #1. Every time BOINC updates a project the throttling settings seem to be over-ridden (general settings use 70% but the host specific uses 100%). So each time it updates I have to synchronise again.

I can't comment on #2 since I've never tried it - I always use the BOINC manager to set "no new tasks".

This problem is reported to the dev team which said they would look into it.
