Hello,

i have an question. At my BAM-preferences i set 0.25 days at additional work buffer, because atm I have 90 wu's with more than 5h worktime and more than 100 of wu's under 1h worktime.

I set also at each project max. 1day at additional work buffer.

But then I synchronize with BAM, my Boinc Manager set Additional work buffer on 21400,00. Is that correct?

I tryied to set it on 1 day in Boinc Manager but then i closed this window and open again. The worth is set on 21400, or 84xxx,00 or anything else.

My computer is 24h a day online and work for Boinc, but i can't finished all wu's in the timeline.

Can u help me please?

.25 days = 21600 seconds. As the manager always requests for xxx seconds of work, it's probable that it sets the additional work buffer in seconds as well.

Hi ok thanxs.
but why I have so mans WU's (especially 90+ WU's with 5h and more worktime)?

I tried now to reduce this value to 0,01 and look if Boinc will get so many WU'S again.

Are they SETI WUs? A few days ago SETI dumped about 5 days worth of WUs onto my Mac for some unknown reason. I hadn't changed any settings - I assume it was just some sort of server issue on their end. Since then it's been fine (normal levels of downloads).

These were lost (or mostly likely ghost) WUs They've resent all of them. If those 90+ WUs are SETI's, then the problem is not in BAM! or the BOINC manager

No 90+Wu's are all projects together. These WU's are from World Community Grid, Rosetta and SETI and all have nearly the same quantity.
