I am unable to attach any hosts to BAM I have tried 3 win98se machines with 5.6.1 and one win xp with 5.4.9. My BOINCstats BAM ID is 103. I get the message from server user not found!

any thoughts

The password you enter into the client is incorrect. It must be the same password as used to log into this site.

I had thought of that so i logged out of BAM logged back in to check the user name and password and tried again with the just confirmed data and no joy

I have a log of your attempts, and I'm sure that you use a wrong/different password.

I just logged out logged back in successfully and than tried to attach host (Philip Bourdon) with the same user name and password on the same keyboard what do the logs say the difference is ?

Sorry, was kind of busy (actually: forgot ).

You did type in the wrong password, but only because the server thought it was wrong. I think you once changed your password, email or name in BAM!, and the script that updates the database had a small flaw: it didn’t correctly calculate the password hash.
