Hello. My BAM host list is kind of messed up after a few changes of BOINC on one PC.

I tried switching to a weak authenticator for one PC, then decided to switch back. Unfortunately, this has left my host list cluttered with multiple User-PCs. What's worse is that credit earned by BAM ID 966249 is only showing up on BAM ID 955960, the old BAM ID for User-PC, which will eventually fall off the active hosts list. In addition, the stats page for BAM ID 966249 doesn't exist, because the credit is going to the stats page for 955960. It seems projects realize it's the same PC while BAM does not.

Any way to fix this?

Hi
It appears that your actions have caused BAM to generate a new ID for User-PC. Occasionally I have seen a new ID created without knowing the cause.

The solution, which will take time, is to wait until the old User-PC drops off the active hosts list. Once this has happened, click on 'Show all hosts' at the bottom right of the list. This will reveal the old User-PC. Somewhere in the the line with that host info will be a red cross. Clicking this allows you to remove the host. As scary as it seems, this will cause the 2 User-PC's to combine into the new User-PC, and you will have everything in one host again. I can't remember if it was immediate, or took a little while.
If I remember correctly from my last experience of this, the credit shows against the old ID, but the project settings need to be adjusted in the new ID! Until they're combined, of course.

So, I'm afraid you have a wait of about a month until it drops off the list.
