Hi.

I have a suggestion to save some resources: Currently BAM tells all hosts to connect every hour. To save bandwidth and server resources, BAM should instead take the "connect every X days" preference from the users profile settings if that value is higher.
For instance my hosts are set to connect to BOINC only once per day. It is a waste of boincstats server resources, if they still connect to BAM every hour for no obvious reason. If I needed an update of altered settings, I could still manually force it to synchronize with BAM.

Thanks for adding this option.

I understand that BOINC should obey this interval until it is triggered manually.

What are other circumstances - if there are any - when BOINC would contact BAM ?
