I read the postings in the Forum that Willy pointed me to. While interesting, I am not sure how this applies.

The Fedora 18 Linux is a VIRGIN install, less than 3 days OLD!

Boinc 7.0.29 is also a VIRGIN install, less than 24 hours in operation!

Modification of files has NOT occured. I am not sure which files to examine, nor what I should be looking for.

I tried to respond to Willy's post of Forum search rules, but was not allowed to do so by the system.

I tried to update my report with this information, but the system disallowed such access.

I struggle mightily to understand what needs to happen next.

I did not have this problem under Ubuntu 12.04 LTS or 12.10 with Boinc 7.0.27 and Boinc 7.0.28.

I attempted to download Boinc 7.0.28 after getting 7.0.29 installed as a distro specific verion and stopping the Boinc Client, but that version 7.0.28 is not complete for Fedora 18, and it trapped/aborted before beginning execution of anything.
