Yesterday I changed my User Name here & across the Projects to STE/E using the & / to form the / in my name. My account allowed the use of the name but when I do a user search here @ BOINCstats using the name I come up with (Your search - ste/e - did not match any user) showing a double / in the name. Don't know if it's a bug or what. A search at Bok's Stats site using the name comes up with the proper Projects for me ...

EDIT: Must be a bug with the left slash mark because it doesn't show here properly either, don't know if you understand what I'm trying to explain as the bug ?

What was your previous username?

STE/E using the & / to form the / in my name

You are using the "/" to form the "/" in your name? Do you mean to form the "V"?

In BAM! your username is now "STE/E". Is that what you wanted or did you intend "STE/E"?

I has this >>> 573V3@SETI.USA [TopGun] for a user name last but just for a few days. I want the name to be STEVE but the V is formed by the left & right Slash Marks. In my Main account page the name shows up properly but during a search here it doesn't because the left slash mark doesn't show properly.

Here is how it should look using the Left & Right Slash Marks >>> http://boinc.freerainbowtables.com/distrrtgen/top_users.php

In BOINC combined your username is still the old one (that will change today) Until then you can't find "Ste/e".

I will fix the search result page where is shows "Ste\/e". That extra "" is only for mysql where "" is a special character.

I figured I might have to wait for a bit for it to show properly ... Thanks Willy

Well, that s*cks. Forum code is stripping away backslash characters. Another thing to fix.
