Hi, can you please help me? I have about six computers and gradually I getting acct_mgr_request empty error on all of them.

Name of computers is common like IG-28 or JC-NTB. I tried change PC name to IG28, but it did not help


Problem must be in some config, because I get "acct_mgr_request" if i tried to connect to non-existent account.

Problem is on 6.10.18 and 6.12.33 Windows boinc client.

The error produced on your XML is "Input is not proper UTF-8". And the problem is your venue names, they have non-ASCII characters.

I don't think that is main problem. Suddenly error in Friday on all PC disappeared, and I don't change anything. Is anything I can do to fix this? Except rename computers...

Your computernames are fine. It's the venue names.

Every error with the BAM! connections is logged together with the request data. It shows that the venue names contain "illegal" characters.

Correct BAM! connections are not logged (too much data), so I can't see what's changed since Friday. I didn't make any changes.

You mean "Work preferences" names? I change them to something simpler.
