When VTU was down, I added it to a host, but, since the project has remained down, it could never attach to it. Now the project has been retired and it's not listed anymore in BAM so that I can detach the host from it.

It seems that when a project is retired, all hosts attaching to it should get a preemptive command to detach from it.

Please, advise.

Hi Augustine

That happened to me with another retired project... you may try

  1. On BoincManager, stop using BAM!
  2. Dettach VTU mannually
  3. Reattach to BAM! again

I was afraid about losing attached projects or data, but nothing were lost (at least to me)

Regards

Not necessary. Some Willy came along and now BAM detached the retired project VTU automatically.
