Steps:
1. Can't log in with my password (identical to my all projects passwords).
2. Change to short one.
3. Login.
4. Change password to long version (accepted by system).
5. Logout.
6. Go to no. 1. :/

With this problem I can't find my accounts in "Sign-up for projects" menu

I think it would be great to separate BAM! password from projects passwords.

Does you long password contain characters not on the standard ASCII table?

No, my long password contains only ASCII characters and is acceptable by projects in which I participate.
18 characters: 4 digits, 9 chars and non alphabetical rest.

BAM! password is not the same than project passwords, I use a different one for each site and everything seems to work... well, almost everything.

I think you are confusing BAM and BOINCstats; in order for BAM to work all the project passwords must be the same as your BAM account. Otherise the account manager will not have access to any of the projects. If you are just using the stats features and not the account manager, it doesn't matter what your password is.
