Hi. I noticed today when I tried to sync boinc with bam, I got an error that says: "Failed to update account" "unable to add host to bam! please try again later"

I have re-installed boinc on my debian machine, and deleted the host from my bam profile and I still get this error.

Any suggestions>?

Yes! Provide details! What's the host name and client version and post the contents of acct_mgr_request.xml and acct_mgr_reply.xml (remove passwords and authenticators!).

There already is a host with that name and the same host CPID under your account in the database. That's why you can't add it.

I understand that.
I tried to defect my client from the account manager, and removing all the hosts from my host list. I then tried to resetup my account manager.

It connected successfully at first, and even added the new host to my host list. It would not attach any projects to the client, and when I hit sync on the client I get the same errors.

its as if its trying to add the host every time it syncs.
