for some days one of my hosts shows a strange behavior with PrimeGrid. allthough i've set NNW in BAM!, it gets WUs. this allways happens after the host contacts BAM! and synchronizes with the projects.

what's going on there - PG is hijacking hosts?

I've had a similar problem with the No New Work option too. So if you want you can select the option manually on your computer and it will work. Also Boinc has some sort of debt system built into it some where so it tries to do an equal amount of work. So if you make it suspend a project for a wile it will build up debt and when you turn it back on it will start to ignore other projects until it catches up with the others.

I don't use BAM to control my Box's (Never have trusted an outside/remote Host Controller) & the same thing happens to me with just certain Projects. PG & ABC are noted for doing that mainly, others too possibly but I don't recall.

This can happen especially if you Aborted Wu's recently & they haven't reached their Deadlines yet. If your Host/Hosts contact the Project again before the Deadlines on the Wu's you aborted are up then the Project will send them back again and give you a red message in the BOINC Manager telling you it's resending recently aborted Wu's ...
