Willy,

Orbit@Home appears on some BAM (and BOINCstats) pages, but not others. I can see it on the Project List, Host pages, and teams page, but not on Resources. I think it used to be there, but it's not visible now.

This project has no workunits, nor will it have any in the foreseeable future. Why do you want to set resource shares?

Well, they're talking about having an application by the end of the year. Additionally, I've been rebalancing where I want to put my time, and want to reserve less space than I previously had been for Orbit.

That's besides the point though. Plenty of projects take time off, or have long periods of no work. I'm assuming they don't all get removed from BAM every time, so assumed that Orbit's absence was some kind of bug to be reported.

For that matter, I can't detach from Orbit now if I wanted to (it seems their servers are down anyway), since BAM was the one that attached to it in the first place.

I'm having the same issue now with Milky Way. I was able to Sign-up for it in BAM, but it does not appear on my Resources page.

Scratch that. Milky Way is showing now; just Orbit@Home is still missing.

Any chance of turning this back on at least long enough to detach hosts that were attached via BAM? According to their front page, Orbit is now actively (finally) going to be developed starting in March 2008, but they may also be resetting the user database, so it probably makes sense for us to detach until that happens. I can't do that via BAM though, since the resources pages and other references to the project went missing.
