Today all three of my machines, were running just fine, then I got a
"Detaching from project" message for Spinhenge@Home. Just prior to this my BOINC client indicated that it was "Contacting account manager at http://bam.boincstats.com/". Is there a problem with using BAM and Spinhenge?

One log entry follows - except for the times, all three systems show the same sequence:

I tried re-attaching and that went well until I clicked on the "Syncrhonize with BOINCstats BAM!" menu item in the BOINC Manager. It detached once again and it's cleared from my project selections in BAM.

I'm running BOINC Client 5.4.11. I'm having no trouble with the nine other projects that I run.

According to the logs I can conclude the following:

* None of the hosts was attached to Spinhenge when they were attached to BAM!
* Host gmpjh91 reports to be attached to Spinhenge at 2006-09-04 14:02:53, but it is not attach through BAM!:

When it is attached by BAM! it has an extra entry: <attached_via_acct_mgr/>
* Host PC863512472119 reports to be attached to Spinhenge at 2006-09-06 10:58:25, but it is not attach through BAM!
* Host rgbean.Melange.com reports to be attached to Spinhenge at 2006-09-07 05:28:53, but it is not attach through BAM!
* Logs do not show you ever set your hosts to attach to Spinhenge (and at the moment they are still not set to attach)

First set your hosts to attach to Spinhenge, then try again. Post the results here.

OK, I obviously misunderstood how to let BAM administer my projects. Because Spinhenge was the first new project I added since starting up BAM, I though I attached the project on the machine and then expected BAM to take it's info when it synchronized.

Topic starter's problem seems to be solved. Yours as well? (Meaning: it costs me 30 minutes to check everything, and if you followed the same initial steps as topic starter then I rather do something else in that time )
