I am getting this error "BOINCstatsBAM! | AM RPC HTTP failure: transient HTTP error", started 2 days . No problem with the website, but my phone has the same problem. On my desktop stop using BAM!, then tried to re-add it can't!
I am having the same issue. Already connected clients seem to work fine, but trying to add new devices to BAM will show the transient http error. This has been happening for at least a few days.

Usually will come up on reload, but just now it kept coming up 4 times in a row before the site would load up again...

this started happening to one of my hosts only
i have 6 hosts at home, none others are affected, just this one
of the 6 hosts, there is 1 other host that's on the same subnet, same networking / DNS settings as this host i'm talking about, that isn't affected.
i tried to detach from BAM and reattach - doesn't work
i tried to upgrade to 8.2.8... upgraded successfully - but still can't attach to BAM
the host still crunches tasks and updates tasks
and whenever i attempt to connect it to BAM, it does update the last known time/date of connect on the hosts list on BAM
i tried looking thru DNS logs, nothing apparent in pihole, everything seems to be working on that host that can't connect to BAM
i tried looking thru event viewer in windows but can't really find anything related to BAM
i tried disabling the windows firewall but it still can't connect to BAM
i tried user Edge/Chrome to login to BAM via website like looking in to post this message.
there were different degrees of non response/non failures (like it would just reload the login screen without saying username password error)
eventually i could log in after forcing it to resend activation email, at which point it would say account already activated and then retrying login it would login to BAM website from browser
