I have a laptop and a tablet that Asteroids@home keeps getting the CPU computing disabled.

I go to both and CPU computing is checked but I keep seeing in the event log it's disabled by the Manager.

I go and clear it and set it again and then when I recontact BAM I start getting work again. But then a day or two later it's disabled again. It's not disabled on the project and I got a desktop and a phone that seem to chug along happily.

There seem to be issues in BOINC versions above 8.04 which may cause this behaviour or do other things like setting a non-user and non-project chosen number of threads to multi-threaded tasks.
Personally, I'd just stick to BOINC 8.0.x or 7.x versions.

I'd upgraded from 7.x because folks were saying that fixed issues getting work from Asteroids. Think I got the latest version of BOINC for both installed. Kind of a mote point at the moment as BAM seems to be having issues...
