after connecting computer to BAM, it stopped requesting CPU tasks

generally it looks like this

i have read some inconsistent info on other sites that this issue is related to some change on WCG project but i could not find a reliable way to fix my BAM! settings

Synchronizing with BAM! and updating projects does not help

After several synchronizations and all project updates computer started to receive WCG tasks

for all other projects it gets the message

I have a new host and am getting the same message, are you by chance using the new v8 BOINC client? I've never seen this message with the v7 clients.

I just setup BOINC in docker on my new host, and all of my projects are getting this error, can't find anything about it online to address.

Edit: Reverting to 7.24.1 in my case did not help. Not seeing any reported issues that are relevant yet: https://github.com/BOINC/boinc/issues?q=sort%3Aupdated-desc+is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen

Update: After letting it sit over night (and maybe some resets that took awhile), I am now getting tasks again for some projects. Going to leave it on v 7.24.1 for a while, as on v8 I didn't have any tasks for over a week.

Seems like this is a new presentation of the old "Not requesting tasks: Don't need" error that came up on new installations with the v7 series.

In my case it is the project SRBase, which no longer works. See:

I was able to fix the issue on my new host, by detaching BAM! and then reattaching.
