If what you say is true, there would be very few indeed crunching for boinc! Even worse, you have to believe that the projects are lying who would do said thing, and that all computer geeks who frequent projects are in on said lie. Surely they know!

I'm not saying that there are lying about what they are doing. In fact the rendering project only says that they offering rendering services to everyone who conribute. but i never saw a thing about what is allowed to be rendered and what not.

That's the normal way. Researching a Medicine is one thing. Developing and - foremost - certifying the actual Medication a whole other. In the end, someone will have to invest big bucks into it and will later (have to) sell it with 'some' profit. . .

Wow. I've been running Boinc on 2 low ends 2. 5 Ghz Celeron since the switch from Seti Classic was made and am just reaching 130K. What kind of machines do you have guys to be at 5 mil and 1 mil ?

Am I the only one reporting DL problems with Seti ? Servers seems running but DL is stuck. . . :-( I was entering Top Italy 100. . . :-(
